AT&T Fiber's 5 gig plan is XGS-PON, technically shared bandwidth, where as Gigabit Pro is typically a metro ethernet connection. It's theoretically better quality bandwidth and far less likely to ever experience a saturation\congestion issue compared with something shared like XGS-PON.Hope that helps!
